The Creative Kidz Showcase is brought to you by the Catch Wreck Creative Team. This event will showcase the younger practitioners of the Hip Hop Arts. Our goal is to educate the youth in the arts of the Hip Hop Culture through its visual and performing arts.
The visual art gallery will feature works from young artists. (ages 9-19 yrs)
For the budding artist, we will have workshops for any and all that would like to participate in creating fun and colorful graffiti lettering and character creation led by local artists.
We will have performances by local dance groups and an open floor for whoever wants to get down and practice some new moves. Our lyrical showcase will include MC’s, Writers, Poets and an open mic for anyone that feels inclined to tell their story. There will be an onsite DJ spinning classic cuts with raffles, giveaways, light refreshments.
