Heavyweights Graff Fest is a free, all-ages community event in Chicago that brings together graffiti writers and street artists from across the Midwest, the U.S., and around the globe. It’s a one-of-a-kind, collaborative mural project where creativity knows no limits—and everyone’s invited to be part of the action.
Taking place Sunday Aust 24th, the festival draws attendees from across the country to experience live mural painting, DJs, live performances, raffles, giveaways, and more. Alongside the art, you’ll find a diverse lineup of local artisans, food and beverage vendors creating an energetic street fair atmosphere.
What truly sets Heavyweights apart is its welcoming, family-friendly vibe. Whether you're a seasoned writer or brand new to the culture, there are plenty of opportunities to paint, snap photos, and learn from pros in a laid-back, supportive environment.

This year marks our 3rd installment, and it's shaping up to be the biggest one yet. In partnership with Loop spray paint Heavyweights Graff Fest has quickly become a cornerstone of Chicago’s Hip Hop and graffiti scene—and 2025 promises to be our most unforgettable year yet.
